Directors

Simply create an event on an Android tablet and share it with the room over Wi-Fi (no Internet connection required).

• Create an event in seconds with no more than a name required.

• Tables can join using either an Android or Apple tablet or phone.

• The director's tablet can, if required, also be used to play as a table.

• Although table numbers will normally be set by the individual tables they can be set/changed by the director.

• Select whether the event is handicapped, the movement, number of arrow switches and number of boards to be played per round.

• The correct layout for the selected movement is calculated and displayed.

• Once boards are handed out the event is started and each table is requested to begin play.

• The director can monitor progress (seeing boards played by each table) although there is no need for the director to intervene during play.

• The director can, if necessary, correct scores which have been submitted by tables. This allows for any results that have been submitted in error to be corrected.

• Once completed, or if the director decides to finish early, the results are calculated immediately and are available to all table devices.
